Corporate Finance for Directors

Home > FIDE > FIDE Elective Programme > Technical Programmes > Corporate Finance for Directors

This two-day programme begins by exploring how the characteristics of a business are reflected in its financial statements and how organisations use financial resources to support corporate strategy, reduce risk and maximise value for shareholders. This allows participants to discuss how and why different industries operate in a certain way. The programme will also explore how firms create value through corporate restructuring, examine capital structure and financial policy decisions by using a number of case studies as a reference in which these decisions have a significant implication for the success of a company.
